Dubrovnik Holidays

Image

Overlooking the deep blue waters of the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik is a truly stunning walled city that is understandably one of Croatia’s most sought after tourist destinations. A UNESCO World Heritage site with Baroque churches, the Grand Palazzo and a picturesque old town, not to mention the flawless beaches – it’s not hard to see why visitors flock there by the thousands.

When to visit

Like many popular European destinations, it can be best to visit outside of high season. May to June and September to October are optimal, when the weather is warm but the crowds aren’t overwhelming – and prices for accommodation aren’t through the roof.

To sum up

If you go at the right time and avoid the hordes of tourists during high season, there is nothing you couldn’t love about Dubrovnik. Amazing scenery, a fascinating history, charming architecture and wonderful food and wine make for a holiday destination that is hard to beat.
