Halkidiki has been becoming increasingly popular over the years among visitors seeking luxury holidays. The climate in Halkidiki is typically Mediterranean. The summers are very dry and warm with temperatures between May and June reaching upwards of 25 degrees, and with July and August reaching highs of around 32 degrees. During the summer months the region boasts up to 11 hours of sunshine per day. Autumn is also a very warm time of the year, with temperatures between September and October averaging between 22 degrees and 28 degrees.

Whether it’s taking boat trips, fishing, learning about the historical sites or taking part in water sports, there will definitely be something to suit everybody’s needs. The region is one of the most popular places in the world among divers, and many of the water sports centres offer PADI courses for visitors that would like to gain certified qualifications. Halkidiki also has a very vibrant nightlife, making it favourite destination for youngsters. During the night Halkidiki gets filled with holiday makers that are looking to let go and have a good time in the vast array of casinos, nightclubs, bars and restaurants.
