The hotel embodies the legend of Parisian couture, particularly through its history with the house of Christian Dior. The Plaza Athénée hosts a Dior Spa within its walls. The stylish Dior Spa Plaza Athénée reflects the hotel’s historic relationship with Christian Dior himself.
Since September 2021, Chef Jean Imbert has overseen all of the Hotel Plaza Athénée's catering, including the Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant Jean Imbert au Plaza Athénée as well as the iconic brasserie Le Relais Plaza. In total, the hotel has 5 restaurants and a bar: Jean Imbert au Plaza Athénée, Le Relais Plaza, La Cour Jardin, La Galerie, La Terrasse Montaigne and Le Bar.
In January 2022, the Hotel Plaza Athénée opens the doors of its new gastronomic restaurant Jean Imbert au the Plaza Athénée. Only 9 weeks after its opening, the restaurant received its first star in the Michelin Guide on March 22, 2022. Inspired by the classic repertoire of French gastronomy, Chef Jean Imbert creates an experience that transcends time and space, a true return to the splendor of French culinary art.
