Ischia is a volcanic island in the Bay of Naples. It is a beautiful, charming mix of sleepy spa towns, stunning countryside, vineyards and ancient ruins. When to visit
Ischia is something of a secret haven compared to its neighbour Capri, avoiding some of the tourist frenzy found there and on the Amalfi Coast – although it is still busy during high season. From May to June and from September to October are the optimal times to visit.
