Thailand Holidays

If there is anywhere in Asia that truly feels like a home away from home, it’s Thailand – and it certainly isn’t difficult to see why. Thai culture blends uniquely well with the tourism which has flourished here over the past decades – so it comes as no surprise that Thai people are famed across the globe for their charm and hospitality. Everything in Thailand is created with meticulous detail, from the stunning temples, to the food on your plate. Thailand is a country with pride, passion and vibrancy right at its core.

Crystal clear waters lap the south of Thailand where innumerable islands are to be found on both sides of the Malay peninsula. Besides giving many of the islands a distinct feel and character, this also means the islands experience the rainy season at alternating times, meaning you can plan your luxury Thailand holiday to suit you throughout the calendar year.

To the north of the island lies breathtaking national parks covered in dense tropical jungles and some of Asia’s most beautiful waterfalls, not to mention an abundance of exotic wildlife. Chiang Mai, the northern capital of Thailand and it’s second largest city, hosts countless temples and monasteries which remind travellers of the city’s vibrant yet, at times, turbulent history.

The epicentre of Thai civilisation which flourished hundreds of years ago, is to be found in Ayutthaya and Sukhothai, both in the centre of Thailand – thus easily reached from Bangkok. These were the capitals of the two most significant kingdoms in ancient Thailand, and are steeped in culture and history exuding from their gloriously preserved ruins.
