Just eight miles long and six miles wide, the stunning island of Skiathos still packs a punch and manages to find room for more than fifty breathtaking beaches that lie against a shimmering azure sea and a backdrop of pine clad hills. With picturesque walks, hidden caves and coves to discover and archaeological ruins to savour, you’ll wonder how this island manages to cram it all in.

The southern part of the island boasts miles of sandy beaches many of which offer a large variety of water sports and with numerous tavernas dotted along the coastline, you can enjoy lunch whilst admiring the stunning beaches of this majestic island. By complete contrast, the northern part of the island remains virtually untouched and offers peace and tranquillity. Neighbouring smaller islands, Skopelos and Alonissos are also worth a visit and there are regular daily boat crossings should you wish to visit for the day.
