Dress Code

In keeping with the standards of the hotel and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for all, guests are kindly requested to wear smart casual evening attire for dinner at “Tamarind” and “Alexanders” restaurants (no shorts or sleeveless shirts for men, no beach wear, shoes to be worn at all times).

Amenities

The Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel is committed to accommodating the needs of the physically impaired, and as such our building is easily accessible for people with disabilities. This includes direct access all the way down to the sandy beach via ramps. Built to international standards, the hotel features four rooms for the disabled with extra-wide entrance doors and grab rails as well as hand-held showers in the bathroom.

Kids Club “Simba”

Our Kids Club, “Simba”, guarantees that the little ones will have fun, too. The kids’ pool, which is heated in winter, comes with a great mushroom shower, the sand pit includes a large jungle gym for climbing, sliding, fun and action. The club house offers two play rooms for painting & face painting, movies, games, and other crafty activities. The kids club is open seven days a week from 9:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00 in winter, and from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00 in summer for the 4-12 year olds. You may also download the Kids Club program. A baby sitter service is available upon request.

Parking

The hotel has a private, open-air car park with 45 spaces as well as two bus parking spaces. Parking is free of charge.

Spa

The Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel is home to the Algotherm Red Sea Thalasso & Spa, a unique spa and wellness center covering more than 1000 m².

Thalasso therapy is based on the curative properties of sea water, sea salt, sea climate and seaweed.

Through therapeutic baths, massages with special cremes, and mud wraps, minerals contained in the sea such as calcium, iodine, iron and magnesium are fed to the body. Thalasso increases the metabolism, boosts blood circulation, tightens the skin, reduces cellulite and offers relaxation for body and mind.
